Every issue of this paper is cut from letters sent home. Some arrive from reader boards, written in hostel bunks and on ferry decks; others come from travel journals that have been publishing for years. Twelve of them are pasted onto the page each time somebody opens it.
Nothing here is planned in advance. The desk draws a different set of sources on every visit, so a ferry timetable from a Greek island might sit beside a dispatch on winter buses in the Andes. Read what is pinned today; tomorrow the board is cleared.
